Process: Guerrilla

Guerrilla is the first print in which I have used in airbrush. I thought it was about time I learnt some new tricks.

A while back I was given an airbrush complete with compressor and airtank that had been rescued from a skip... It had seen better days. The first time I had used it, gold ink splattered all over the ceiling, the compressor thundered like a small aircraft taking off. There was something kind of exciting though about the process, the noise and erratic spray pattern. I decided to use this to colour the Guerrilla editions. Half way through accompanied by a small explosion the compressor overheated and completely burnt out. I had to dig in my pockets for some new kit to finish things off, but I think it was worth it.
